Our Story

I’ve been in the beverage business for a while, and in that time I’ve never come across a more complex or enchanting drink. It has been exciting to be involved with such an accepted and sophisticated beverage that is perfect for so many people and occasions.

Twelve began with two New York City chefs who became frustrated that they were not able to offer their customers a non-alcoholic drink that could be paired with food. Both Alfred Pertale and David Burke believed it was imperative to offer their customers a sophisticated, non-alcoholic drink to couple with their culinary designs. When wine was not an option, their customers were left to choose between water, iced tea and traditional mixers at the bar. The chefs were unsatisfied by these options stating that water was too plain and iced tea was not traditionally paired with food. As a result, the two chefs teamed together to develop their own solution. With a tag-line of ‘noon to midnight,’ Twelve has wowed its customers with its unique and complex array of flavors for any time of day. Always delivering a satisfying flavor, Twelve has quickly become the non-alcoholic drink of choice among upscale party-goers. No alcohol but a sweet little buzz.
